• Account Profile: Display name, email address, age/date of birth (to enforce our strict 13+ age eligibility requirement), profile photo avatar, and chosen username.
• Language & Learning Goals: Your native language, target languages, CEFR proficiency levels, and conversation topics.
• User-Generated Content: Messages, audio voice notes, shared moments, and vocabulary words you intentionally post or share.
• Technical Diagnostics: Minimal crash telemetry, device model, and OS version to ensure low-latency audio/video calling.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Smart Matchmaking: Pairing you with complementary native speakers worldwide.
• AI Language Practice: Providing instant grammar feedback, conversational roleplay, and phonetic guides powered securely via Google Gemini.
• Safety & Moderation: Real-time automated profanity detection, scam link prevention, and immediate reporting queues.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We NEVER sell or rent your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks. We rely exclusively on industry-standard infrastructure:

• Google Cloud Firebase: Encrypted Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage.
• Google Generative AI: Gemini models for live language coaching without training on personal user identifiable records.
• WebRTC Media: Peer-to-peer encrypted voice and video streams. We do NOT record or store call audio/video.

4. Permanent Account & Data Deletion

You retain 100% control over your data. You can delete your account at any time either directly in the LinkNow app (Settings → Legal & Safety → Account Deletion) or online via our dedicated Web Account Deletion Portal.
